It took me a little while to process this since closing. Honestly, I was going to push on to the next thing, but God nudged me to intentionally take a pause.
It was an absolute honor to be a part of this production. I definitely received more out of it then I put into it. Doing this play taught me more on how to be present with people. Not just the ones you love, but strangers as well. You never know what a few moments of your time can do for someone that could be struggling with thoughts of suicide.
I know I am not the best at recognizing when someone may need that moment, but I’m working on it. I challenge everyone to do the same. We’re not meant to roam this world alone.
Would I do this play again….. ABSOLUTELY!
Shout out to the amazing fellow cast members I had the chance to grace the stage with. Can’t wait to get that group photo we missed out on
