Today on my workout I ran into someone. Normally I don’t randomly talk to people, but something about this brother made me want to have a conversation. We started talking about New York as we both have origins there. We went on to share our experiences on a variety of things. About his passion for teaching IT…my passion for working in it. His family of friends
…my family of kids. His love for Angel…my love for Ebony. His dreams of where he wants to be, my dreams of how want to grow. Then we realized we were from two different times, two different paths, but having similar goals: acceptance, fairness, love, and gratitude for the time we have. We dapped up and as he walked away he said “break legs brother”. Before I could get a word out he faded away. However, after that I understood the mission.
