Another show in the books. Although, this one hits a little different after being over. When I first started this show it was more of me getting to learn the songs, blocking, and all that good stuff. However, it wasn’t until the rehearsal before opening that I really started listening to the words and voices. Yeah, it was a fundraiser and we were up in a week (super proud of that by the way), but man when it finally slowed down I grew to appreciate what I was partaking in. Definitely have some emotions running through my mind right now.
This drink is to the seven hundred and eleven people who survived to tell the story, as well as the one thousand five hundred and seventeen souls that lost their lives that didn’t.
Maybe one day I’ll get to revisit this role. I would love the chance to explore it more. Either way this definitely made me grow as an actor and performer.
