Rahman A. Williams is an actor and audiobook narrator whose work is grounded in discipline, depth, and authentic storytelling. Drawing on over 25 years of military service and more than a decade in IT leadership, Rahman brings real-world experience, emotional intelligence, and focused professionalism to every role.
His path into acting grew naturally from years of public speaking, mentorship, and leadership. Today, he channels those experiences into performances that emphasize honesty, connection, and emotional truth. Whether on stage, on camera, or behind the microphone, Rahman’s work is defined by sincerity, intensity, and a quiet strength that resonates with audiences.
Rahman has built a strong foundation in regional theater, performing roles that showcase both comedic timing and dramatic depth. Notable stage credits include Job Interview (Charlotte’s Off Broadway), Puffs! (Waxhaw Community Theater), Bright Star (Lee Street Theatre), and his stage debut as Tom Collins in Rent, where he demonstrated both vocal power and emotional vulnerability.
In addition to stage work, Rahman is expanding into film, voice-over, and audiobook narration. As a narrator, he collaborates with major audiobook publishers to bring stories to life through immersive and engaging performances. His naturally resonant baritone voice and calm, articulate delivery make him especially well suited for narration, documentary work, and authoritative or grounded characters.
Rahman is SAG-AFTRA eligible and continues to pursue opportunities across theater, film, commercial, audiobook, and voice-over work.
Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Rahman is available as a local hire throughout the Southeastern United States.
